Freedom of Information — Case Management

Add facts or upload documents the auto-drafter can ground on and cite. Private uploads are submitted for review and are not used in any draft until a reviewer approves them. Tag a document to a project/scheme to scope it.

Accepts PDF, Word (.docx), text and HTML. Scanned/image-only PDFs aren’t supported (no OCR).

Create an account for each responsible department so they can sign in and upload their relevant documents.

Emails a distribution list when a scheme starts deteriorating (breaches trending up). Runs from cron (python -m app.notify) or on demand here. With the stub provider nothing is sent — the message that would be emailed is recorded below.

A weekly summary per owning department (open / overdue / due-soon, breach rate, deteriorating schemes). Runs from cron (python -m app.digest) or on demand here; recipients route per department (FOI_DIGEST_RECIPIENTS) with the central IG list as fallback. The stub provider records each digest below without sending.
